Instruction for Authors

Both abstract and paper submissions should be done using ConfTool system (link available from the conference website), which firstly requires from authors to register to proceed with any further steps related to submission, review, corrections, etc.

Guidelines for abstracts

For the first step, abstract submission, you will be asked to upload the file that includes the abstract. Regarding the contents of the abstract there are no formal requirements neither regarding number of pages nor the form of presentations (e.g. the possibility to insert figures, tables). However there is ConfTool limit of 10MB for the volume of the file and only selected formats will be accepted (doc, docx, pdf).

Our recommendation is to stay within one page A4 (font 12) and exclude any tables and figures that are not really crucial to understand the contents of your full paper.

Guidelines for full papers

The authors of accepted abstracts are invited to submit full papers until 10th March 2014.

All papers will go through a two-step blind review process – peer reviewed by the International Scientific Committee and additional reviewers.

Contributions submitted to EEM14 must be presented either as oral presentations or as poster pretentions. The working language of the conference is English, which will be used for all printed and electronic materials, during presentations and discussions.

Please note that all papers that will be accepted and presented at the Conference will be included in the IEEE Xplore database and published in the IEEE Conference Proceedings.

Submission will be judged by their originality, significance, interest, clarity relevance and correctness. All papers must be electronically submitted and must be in Adobe PDF format. Additional editing resources may be found at the PES Author’s Kit, under the heading “To prepare and submit a Technical Work for a PES Conference”.

In addition, authors will be required to submit a filled IEEE Copyright form upon the full paper acceptance.

Guidelines for preparing Conference papers for the IEEE Power & Energy Society are provided in the Author’s Kit.
